Introduction

Kymco's roots in the two-wheeler industry go back to its founding, in 1963, as the Kwang Yang Motor Company, Ltd., with headquarters in Taiwan. Today it manufactures bikes and scooters at five plants in Asia. The manufacturer has created it with modern and aggressive body structure. Design

Kymco Jockey is a stylish and upscale 125cc vehicle to drag scooter fanatics all over the country. The manufacturer has blessed it with enough leg space which makes it nifty and fashionable. The impeccable front has twin-eyed clear lens turn indicators which add a simple yet stunning and enticing appearance. The designers have fitted a twin-eyed halogen headlight at the front that will appeal consumers from the first sight. It has a notable body frame that resembles smart and a company insignia on its side body has been embellished. From the rear it looks sophisticatedly crafted, it has an edgy taillight that comes with integrated side indicators. In regards to dimension, it has a length of 1820 mm with a width of 640 mm and height of 1100 mm weighing 115 Kg. Engine, Economy & Performance

Talking about its engine and performance, Kymco Jockey has been fitted with a 125cc powertrain unit the single cylinder, 4 stroke engine emits the maximum power of 6.3 hp at 8000 rpm and a peak torque of 8 nm at 5500 rpm which is mated to a variable speed gearbox to provide a hassle free riding experience and a compelling acceleration. The performance of the engine is magnificent and it produces a noise and vibration free ride.

Handling

The Taiwan-based firm has used the tubular frame for Jockey to make it tougher. It has been outfitted with telescopic suspension at front and coil spring suspension at the rear portion of the scooter that gives more endurance and evenness to the ride. It comes packed with a 90/90 R12 front and 1000/90 R10 rear strong radial tyres in order to provide a peaceful ride even on the bumpy surfaces. The tyres are further coupled with the 5-spoke wonderfully designed black alloy wheels that looks astonishing and the rider feels satisfied while buying it.

Safety, Braking and Miscellaneous

For satisfactory braking, it is equipped with an improved disc brake at front and a drum brake on the rear side to provide the stopping power and to increase the safety of the riders.
