Renault Duster new generation to be launched in 2018

Hanoi: The new generation of a sporty and muscular Renault Duster, SUV was first launched in India in 2012 and has now won hearts of many people in Vietnam. The car offers an off-road style design which is robust and consistent with the terrain conditions.

Although the informaton of new generation Duster is still not announced but Renault promised that the car will makeover the design and equipment according to the latest technology.

Renault Duster was introduced in last October 2015 in Vietnam International Motor Show which set a new milestone for Vietnam's auto market. The size of the vehicle is 4315mm long, 1822mm wide with 2673mm wheelbase. It comes with 16-inch wheels with 5+ 2 comfortable seat format.

Renault Duster costs 790 million with 2.0-litre engine capacity and 143 hp at 5570 rpm. It offeres torque of 195 Nm at 4000 rpm. It accelerates from 0 to 100 kmph in 11.5 seconds with the top speed of 174km/h.

According to Renault, the fuel consumption of Duster is 8.9 L/100 while in the market it is 11.7 liters and 7.3 L/100 km in highway.

With 790 million dong, Renault Duster is seen as a new medium of choice in the sport utility vehicle segment in Vietnam. It has more than 700,000 vehicles since it was first launched in 2010. It can be considered as a good option worth considering in the small SUV segment.
